Four Arizona guys that love to ROCK.
That was the original Gunsite.
From the late '70's until the early '80's, Gunsite was rockin'
desert parties in the Phoenix area with abandon.Gunsite is now Mike VanDenburgh and numerous guest musicians.
Colaborations over the Internet has become the latest incarnation of Gunsite.
The songs on this page range in date from 1979 (Big Red Machine) to 2005 (Ride Roadie Ride).
A lot of the songs here are raw and untamed. Recorded live, mostly, and played with a lot of heart.
Gunsite may not win any production awards, but rockin' the house is where we're at!

I am a native Texan, born and raised in Odessa, Texas. I started plunking on the guitar at age 4 and never stopped.
In my 20's I played in a South Texas band called "Western Union" as the Lead Guitar Player and singer. Then I formed my own band called "Silverado". We toured through out Texas and the Southern States. This was during the 1980's. We were pretty popular and played some big clubs and venues. Again, I was Lead Guitar and Singer.
Although I have gone on to do other things- my 3 loves are Playing Music, Riding Motorcycles, and being with my Wife of 11 years.
I play small gigs now on my own. I play every instrument through my cakewalk program, recording each track, and then I play to my recorded track with Live Lead Guitar and of course, singing. I sound just like the 5 piece band I used to have except no one gets drunk, falls off the stage, or runs off with women or doesn't show up for Whatever! reason to the Gig.
So now, I control the Gig. It's all Me with all my years of experience. I charge $300.00 for a 3 hour Gig. It's awfully hard to play and sing on your own regardless, for 4 hours.
I will travel to Gigs in a 120 mile circumference from San Antonio.
I play VFW Halls, private parties, Bar Mitvah's (heehee), small bars, special events such as a chili-cook-off somewhere, motorcycle rally -------etc.
People get up and dance to my music. I'm not a 3- cord amateur who thinks he knows how to play.
My phone is 210-323-7153 for booking information.

Fools Life- was the dream of John Rhodes and Dan Milliron as an outlet for their combined musical desires to play Blues (and Rock), with a twist, for all real music fans whether their hearts are into Country, Rock, Jazz or Gospel. The idea was that true music fans would enjoy good blues if played from the heart. So in early 2001 the journey began.
If you listen carefully, you can hear Blues in all genres of music. Most contemporary artists have displayed blues in their music in one way or another, sometimes without even realizing it. Fools Life is reversing that trend by bringing Rock, Country, Jazz, etc. back into their blues just by letting their life influences flow. Fools Life endeavors to satisfy all musical tastes by creating a set list that traverses an eclectic range of musical styles in both contemporary and classic forms.
With Charles "Charley" Labbee on Guitar and Bob Weir on Drums, The Fools strive to represent the music of the masters as well as the more modern artists of today while keeping their blues roots growing.
